Veronica Frank: I grew up in a small Christian Church but it wasn’t until I met my fiancé that I really learned about Chatholicism. When I was attending nursing school at OSF, I participated in Catholic prayer groups and bible studies. I went to my first Catholic Mass with my fiancé, Jered and his dad. I became very interested in the beliefs and practices of the church. I joined RCIA in August 2009 and am looking forward to being baptized on Easter Vigil. I am very glad I started this journey of my faith and I am excited to see how it will lead me through my marriage and life!
Michael Bailliez: Growing up in a family that never went to church, I have had very little religious influence. That all changed when I met my wife Kelly, we were married last June. While going through marriage prep classes, I decided that I wanted to become Catholic. I think it was one of the most important decisions I have ever made! I would like to thank my wife, Kelly, my sponsor Bryan Harlan, and Father Luis.
Keri Bowles: I have really enjoyed my time in RCIA. Having never gone to church growing up, I feel blessed that I am now a part of this great church. I am very grateful for Fr. Luis, and how open and willing to answer any question we may have. I was nervous coming into the process not knowing what to expect, but having now gone through it, I know it was the best decision I have ever made. Thanks to everyone for all their thoughts and prayers!
